Based on the previous study that presented an absolute optical rotary encoder (ORE) design with optical resolution of 15 bits by using a Dammann grating, this paper further improves the system with autofocusing for enhancing the optical signal retrieving.

Miniaturized Digital Holographic Microscope with Holographic Optical Element

Since the invention of microscope, microscope is inconvenient to be carried due to its heavy weight and bulky size. Therefore, we use Lensless Fourier Transform Digital Holographic Microscope system to combine with holographic optical components. It can make the setup smaller and portable, and it also has high resolution.
